SUPPORT
Need help with your DTF order?
Below are our basic file setup guidelines and pressing instructions. If you are unsure about your artwork, send us a message before ordering and we can help point you in the right direction.
Artwork File Guidelines
For the best print quality, please upload the highest-quality artwork file you have.
Best File Types
Vector files are preferred whenever possible.
Good file types include:
- AI
- EPS
- SVG
- High-resolution PNG
- High-resolution PSD
- High-resolution TIFF
Vector vs. Raster Files
A vector file is artwork built with clean lines and shapes that can be resized without losing quality. Vector artwork is usually best for logos, text, simple illustrations, and clean graphic designs.
A raster file is made of pixels. Common raster files include PNG, JPG, PSD, and TIFF. Raster artwork can print well if it is high enough resolution, but low-resolution raster files may print blurry, pixelated, or rough around the edges.
Good Raster File Guidelines
If you are sending a PNG, JPG, or other raster file, please make sure:
- The file is sized at or near the final print size.
- The artwork is high resolution.
- The background is transparent if you do not want a box/background printed.
- The edges are clean.
- The design is not blurry, pixelated, or pulled from a screenshot.
- Small text is readable at the final print size.
Files That May Cause Issues
Files may need adjustment or may not print well if they are:
- Screenshots
- Low-resolution JPGs
- Blurry or pixelated images
- Artwork copied from the internet
- Files with unwanted backgrounds
- Designs with tiny text or very thin lines
- Artwork that is not sized correctly
- Files that contain copyrighted or trademarked artwork without permission
If there is an issue with your file, we may contact you before printing. Production time begins once a usable file is submitted.
Gang Sheet Guidelines
When building or uploading a gang sheet:
- Make sure every design is sized correctly.
- Leave a small amount of space between each design.
- Do not overlap artwork.
- Make sure all backgrounds are removed unless you want them printed.
- Check spelling, names, numbers, and sizing before submitting.
- Use high-resolution or vector artwork whenever possible.
We print what is submitted, so please review your gang sheet carefully before placing your order.
